Dear Mommy,

On this special day, I want you to know how much you mean to me. Your hugs are the warmest place in the whole world. Your laughter turns ordinary moments into something I'll carry with me forever.

You are my safe place and my greatest adventure. You know my favourite songs by heart. You always know when I need a hug. You turn scary things into small things, and small things into magic. And you always have a hand to hold when the world feels big.

Every day I discover a little more of you in myself. And there is nothing that makes me prouder.

I'll be honest: I don't always listen on the first try. Sometimes you have to say my name twice. Okay, maybe three times. I'm working on it, I promise. But here's the thing: every time I look up at you and say "I love you, Mommy"... I mean it with my whole entire heart. No take-backs.
